Everyone looks happy in the sun and it’s exciting to watch children grow and play in the sea and sand with squeals of delight. Learning to swim is a good lesson for anyone, it starts off with you putting your toe in the water to see what it feels like and going deeper when you are ready. It may be cold, it may be warm and if there are waves will require more skill and caution, it can be more exciting or perhaps scary depending on how big they are, parenting a child with a different personality or one who seems braver, more adventurous than you can leave you feeling like a fish out of water.
As a parent you always have safety at the back of your mind, your child’s life is precious and so are YOU. When you are always busy looking after everyone else it’s easy to lose sight of your own needs in an effort to keep everyone else happy. But when mum is not happy the rest of the family suffer, be it consciously or not. Children are like amebae’s they absorb things from the environment, good or bad, it just happens naturally.
The good news is, you get to decide what your child is learning and how much fun and enjoyment they have.
When you are giving and giving, yet running on an empty tank you tend to lose patience, snap at your child, family members and then feel bad and regret your actions. Family life is all about learning to live together but when other people are having more fun than you and are not stuck holding a crying baby that has been up all night, it’s easy for them to make thoughtless comments and upset you further. What if there was a different way, one where you could have more fun, sleep all night and enjoy your children more and feel good about yourself?
Great news-Now you can!
I’m launching a new group for busy mums who want more insert your desire for ‘sleep/peace/sanity/freedom/help’ with less frustration and worry. Looking after a family does not come easily to everyone, some mums do have a baby who sleeps well, a child that listens and behaves when asked, a partner who is more than a ‘good dad’, others have an up all nighter, toddlers who fight and kick, children who shout and scream and ignore your requests. If any of these things are getting you down and you want something new in your life now, that will ease your days and give you a new sense of self while making family life feel calm and fun again, I’m here to tell you about ‘Serenity’ our 12 week programme for busy mums with under 8’s.
If you’re new to the world of personal development, want childcare clarity, calmer days, and peaceful nights I have created a ‘mindful’ selfcare programme drawn from over 30 years’ experience with children and working mums and I know what you want and share how to take the pressure off.
Reply ‘SERENITY’ with a Dm or visit the website for more information and reserve your place to give you priority booking, (no need to commit at this stage), will be releasing more information soon.
Enjoy your day and if you are going swimming look out for the BIG waves and jump in with both feet!
